So Blury… Can you see?

This week, our beautiful Contestants will show us their interpretations of Androgynous Fashion.

Conventional wisdom defines androgyny as a combination of traditionally feminine and masculine elements.  There is definitely something exciting about gender-bending fashions. Whether it’s a designer creating a line that is completely gender versatile, or making women more hard-edged and men more soft-edged for an editorial shoot. Playing around with traditional gender roles is not only interesting, it’s totally fashionable too.  Our contestants blured the line and the top looks are as follow:

MISS ZAMBIA – Jaguar Constantine

Jaguar looked to D&G’s Ready To Wear runway show for inspiration.

Dolce & Gabbana used Janelle Monae and David Bowie as stylistic muses for the collection.
The super fan and super sleek play on classic men’s wear is definitely an homage to Janelle Monae and D&G’s 2011 line.

Shop Jaguar’s look at Gizza, Sf Designs, Diram, A&M, Gawk, Redgrave, Schadenfreude, Septem Essentia, Rozoregalia, Dura, Slink, and Miamai.

MISS TOGO – NGozi Faith

Ngozi said about challenge, “I was thrilled to attempt this challenge. I can be a bit of a closet tomboy so I wanted to create an up beat hip look inspired by Marc by Marc Jacobs Spring 2012 collection.”

The stylish frames, well made jacket, concert tee, and oddly structured but super edgy mustard colored pants are total urban chic street wear that you’d see in a chill spot in New York.

You can shop Ngozi’s look at Mon Tissu, Mr Poet, Nowhere, Ladies who Lunch, Mirken, Miel, R.icielli, Shade Throne, Calypso, Fab Pony, CC Designs, Esk-imo, Cheerno, and XYR.

MISS CONGO – Anigma Eulenburg

Anigma decided to rebel and embrace her inner punk with this style.

A lacy blouse is paired with a simple bow tie collar. She keeps her bold edge with a necktie decorated in chains and crosses. Dainty gloves are balanced out by the unisex belt from LouLou & Co. She polishes off her studious look in a shaved hairbase and loafers.

Anigma gathered pieces from Gizza, Nemesis, Mandala, Finesmith, LouLou& Co., MEB, Acid & Mala, and LoQ to complete her look.

Next week the contestants dawn there gowns as tribute to there countries and the final scores will be tallied.  Who has there eyes on the prize.
